Supporting Those Who Care For & Protect Others.
Trauma-Informed Therapy for First Responders and their families navigating stress, burnout, trauma, and life transitions.
At Kaitie Daly Psychotherapy, Inc., I specialize in supporting nurses, firefighters, first responders and their families, including spouses, partners, children, and adolescents. I understand that the demands of these professions extend far beyond the workplace, often impacting family relationships, parenting, emotional well-being, and daily life at home.
First Responders regularly face high-stress environments, exposure to trauma, long and unpredictable shifts, compassion fatigue, and burnout. These challenges can affect not only the individual but also the loved ones who support them. Children and adolescents in first responder families may experience unique stressors, including concerns about a parent's safety, frequent absences, changing schedules, and difficulties navigating family transitions.
The goal is to help nurses, firefighters, and their families strengthen resilience, improve communication, deepen connection, and develop practical tools to navigate the unique challenges of these essential professions. We are honored to support those who dedicate their lives to caring for and protecting others, while helping them prioritize their own well-being and the well-being of their families.
